The Zhytomyr City Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth is an out-of-school educational institution that provides children and student youth of the Zhytomyr territorial community with the opportunity to receive additional education during extra curricular time (a total of 1,700 children). The educational process is free of charge and is carried out in the following areas: scientific and technical, research and experimental, artistic and aesthetic. The institution offers a variety of clubs aimed at helping students master modern digital tools and acquire practical digital skills for working with modern equipment in the STEM laboratory. Children learn 2D and 3D modeling. The digital models created by the children are printed on 3D printers and cut with laser engravers. Every year, the educational institution organizes and conducts around 50 competitions (with more than 1,000 participants), festivals, and workshops for students of lyceums and teaching staff of the city of Zhytomyr with the aim of involving them in maker activities and organizing meaningful leisure.

The purpose of our international partnership is the exchange of promising ideas and projects among youth and educators. The Zhytomyr City Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth cooperates with educational institutions of various types: preschool, general secondary, and higher education. Club members annually participate in international events with various projects on environmental, technical, technological, artistic and aesthetic themes. We are open to communication and cooperation in the development of technical and design-oriented modern digital solutions in education, as well as the exchange of work experiences among educators and youth.
