Simon Konarsky Gymnasium in Vilnius is a state institution. The students from 7 to 19 years old are educated here. All subjects except the state language and foreign (anguages are taught in Polish. The establishment belongs to the organization „Macierz szkolna" ('Polish Educational Society") of Polish schools in Lithuania. The Gymnasium is located in a former industrial district, which means that many students come from modest, incomplete or asocial families, where they cannot fully realize their ambitions. Some young people have poor motivation in learning. The Gymnasium has a lot of experience in realization local projects, such as holiday camps for students or student mediation, as well in republican and international projects.
