Rivne State University of Humanities (RSHU) is a multidisciplinary higher education institution that trains specialists in pedagogical, natural, cultural, artistic and economic specialties. The history of begins with the opening of the Rivne Teachers' Institute in 1940, the Rivne Institute of Culture in 1979 and their merger in 1998 into Rivne State University of Humanities, which allows the institution to combine many years of experience with the innovative potential of modern technologies for teaching students. The educational process is provided by 9 faculties (pedagogical, psychological and natural sciences, history and sociology, foreign philology, Ukrainian philology, mathematics and computer science, physical and technological, documentary communications and management, art and pedagogical), the Institute of Arts, the Institute of Psychology and Pedagogy, the Institute of Pre-university Training and Postgraduate Education. The university's structure includes Sarny Pedagogical College, Dubno College, Dubno College of Culture and Arts, and Rivne Music College. The educational and scientific activities are carried out by 45 doctors of sciences and professors, 358 candidates of sciences, associate professors, including 32 honored workers in the field of education, culture, art, science and technology, physical culture and sports.
