Rivne City Palace of Children and Youth (PCY) is a new type out-of-school institution, the only one in Ukraine works according to author model as the Centre of profile pre - professional training and primary professional education (since 1992). Nowadays, Rivne Palace of Children and Youth comprises 11 profile schools of pre-professional training and primary professional education, 3 sport schools, 12 amateur and club societies, 24 artistic groups. The uniqueness of the Palace is in: innovative model, author system of profile studying; its own system of social protection; scientific character of researches and level of acquired results of experimental activity and their meaning for out-of-school education of the whole Ukraine, unified software of educationally-upbringing process and its methodic accompaniment; creation of its own newspaper "Without secrets", web-portal, television program "Let's go together"; system of pupils, self-governing; introduction of intellectual games to curriculum of primary school; participating in realization of its own original project, aimed at social rehabilitation of children and youth.

With the assistance of the Department of Education of Rivne City Council Ecoclub in partnership with Rivne City Palace of Children and Youth has implemented a number of educational projects aimed at involving children and youth of Rivne territorial community in measures to preserve the environment. We are working together to form a conscious ecological community in order to prevent climate change. Besides, according to statistics, Rivne territorial communityt is the leader in the number of IPDs in region, 25,213 people live there, including 7,368 children. All this children are education seekers including out-of-school education.
