The aim of the Center is to ensure the quality, accessibility and development of general and special social services provided. Residents of Raseiniai district (with disabilities) are provided with information, counseling, employment, leisure organization, personal hygiene, physiotherapy, social care (short-term, long-term, daycare), education, education and other social services according to the needs of visitors and the possibilities of the center. Vision - Raseiniai District Disability Employment and Services Center - a modern institution providing high-quality social services for the disabled. Mission - to provide general and special social services to the disabled in the district, helping them to live an independent, dignified and full life. The aim of the activity: to ensure the quality, accessibility and development of general and special social services provided by the Public Institution Raseiniai Disability Employment and Services Center. Clients of Center - disabled residents of Raseiniai district. The center carries out the following activities: ? Physical activity promotion classes (morning exercise, periodically organized sports activities, sports festivals, tournaments); ? Individualized educational social activities (knowledge of time, money, environment, etc.) ? Daily life skills training sessions (cooking, personal hygiene, self-regulation, environmental care, etc.); ? Art, ceramics, music, theater classes; ? Cultural activities (theaters, exhibitions, excursions), organization of various celebrations.

Experience in the implementation of educational projects aimed at young people

The Center is active in participating in youth projects of Lithuania (organised by Department of Youth Affairs) and other European projects. In 2021, the Center participated in the projects of the Lithuanian-Polish Youth Exchange Fund for the fifth time. Currently, the Center is implementing a project of the Lithuanian-Latvian cross-border co-operation program and social workshops. Disabled people with intellectual and physical disabilities are involved in our ongoing projects. Therefore, we are looking for partners who would fit our profile or who would be interested in involving young people with disabilities in project activities.
