The public organization "Future of Khotyn Region" was registered on August 9, 2006. Since then, it has been actively participating in the life and development of the Khotyn urban territorial community. The mission of the organization is to support and develop youth policy in the community, as well as provide assistance to vulnerable categories of the population. The NGO "Future of Khotyn Region" uses its own expert potential and attracts grant funds to promote democratic, participatory and inclusive development of the community, as well as the development of adolescents and youth. The organization constantly cooperates with both local public associations and local government bodies that are interested in transparent decision-making and active involvement of citizens in the processes of interaction and development.

The Green Greenhouse project was implemented within the framework of the grant competition “Voices of Communities in War” by the NGO “Modern Format” with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy. Goal: socialization and adaptation of IDP children to the socio-cultural life of the community, promotion of eco-education among schoolchildren. Grant: 73,440 UAH. The project “Coworking Center for Wood and Metalworking” was implemented within the framework of the competition “Support for the Most Vulnerable IDPs” with the support of HEKS/EPER Romania, Swiss Solidarity and Act Alliance. Goal: creation of a coworking space on the basis of the Khotyn Support Academic Lyceum for wood and metalworking classes for adults and children. Provision of conditions for master classes and labor training lessons. Development of professional skills, optimization of resources, improvement of the quality of education and attractiveness of the institution. Grant: 210,000 UAH. The project “Comfortable and Safe Conditions for Schoolchildren of the Khotyn Community” was implemented under the technical administration of ISAR Unity and assistance from UNDP in Ukraine, with the support of the EU, the governments of Denmark and the Netherlands. Objective: arrangement of safe pick-up/drop-off places for students, prevention of road accidents, improvement of infrastructure around schools, educational work on road safety. Grant: 22,217 USD. The project “Art Therapy as a Way to Overcome Anxiety for the Youth of the Khotyn Region” was implemented under the technical administration of the Ukrainian People’s House in Chernivtsi. Objective: improvement of the mental health of the youth of the community during the war through art therapy activities that contribute to emotional relief, development of creativity and social ties. Grant: 20,000 UAH. The project “Safe Community for IDPs – Creation of a Safety Class” was implemented with the assistance of NGO AREAC, with support from HEKS/EPER Romania, Swiss Solidarity and Act Alliance. Goal: creation of safety classes for schoolchildren, including IDPs, with practical training in mine and fire safety, first aid, and recognition of explosive objects. Grant: UAH 209,340. NGO “Future of Khotyn Region” provides humanitarian support to IDPs, promotes the integration and socialization of vulnerable categories of the population through non-formal education and eco-educational activities.
