description

Posmishka UA Charitable Foundation is a non-governmental humanitarian organization that supports children, youth, and families affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine. We work with internally displaced persons (IDPs), survivors of violence, and vulnerable communities, focusing on human rights, psychosocial support, gender equality, and recovery. One of our top priorities is working with young people, especially in frontline and conflict-affected regions. We implement educational, psychoeducational, and integration programs for teenagers and young adults, along with initiatives that promote civic engagement, volunteering, and a culture of dialogue among youth. We partner with schools, youth centers, and communities, involving young leaders and local trainers. We believe in the power of intercultural exchange and seek international partnerships that support peace, solidarity, and sustainable development. We have experience implementing humanitarian and social projects in the areas of mental health and psychosocial support, assistance to IDPs, and gender-based violence prevention. We welcome cooperation in youth exchanges, training programs, awareness campaigns, mental health initiatives, inclusion, and community development.

Experience in the implementation of educational projects aimed at young people

Posmishka UA Charitable Foundation has solid experience in implementing educational, psychoeducational, and youth-oriented programs in communities affected by armed conflict. We run Catch Up classes for children and teenagers who have experienced disrupted schooling, and support youth in rebuilding their learning pathways in new environments. Across our areas of operation, we maintain digital learning centers that provide access to hybrid and online learning. Our youth- and child-friendly spaces function as hubs for training sessions, informational events, support groups, and informal education. The topics we address include mental health, safety, human rights, digital literacy, self-protection, and civic participation. We regularly conduct training programs for young people focused on leadership, volunteering, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication. Our approach to youth work combines structure, experience, and adaptability—delivering formats tailored to the context and needs of each community or group.
