Pivasiunai gymnasium is a non governmental organisation, a state institution, having educational purposes in the local area. The school provides primary, basic and secondary education and prepares school leavers for further studies or work. We integrate pupils with specific needs. Pivaši?nai gymnasium is an institution that provides education with 147 students, 29 teachers. We have 147 students between the ages of 6-18. We have sportive achievements both as a team and a personal. Providing the necessary support in the personal, professional and social development of young people and also staff, developing their knowledge and skills are among the primary responsibilities of our institution. We have been continuously taking active part in the projects related with all educative, sports, science areas. Our institution encourages all our students and their families to participate and take active roles in international projects in all areas of education and social life in our region.

School participates in various eTwinning projects. The teachers who participate in the project activities at our gymnasium are creative, enthusiastic, open to innovations and have competences in using IT in their lessons and integrating foreign languages and other subjects (Music, Biology, English, History). Each time our students and teachers participate in E- twinning projects, conferences and share the experience with other neighbourhood schools, social partners and Municipality. Also, projects help our students (especially with special needs), to better understand each other, make totally different ways of curricular, present new material, ways of teaching and studying, collaboration and making new friends. In this rapidly changing world, it's a very important thing.
