Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University is the leading institution of higher education of the European level in Cherkasy region, which provides the labor market with highly qualified and competitive specialists in a wide range of pedagogical, engineering, technological and economic specialties. The university consists of 11 faculties and 1 educational-scientific institute: • Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics; • Faculty of History; • Faculty of Preschool and Special Education; • Faculty of Foreign Languages; • Faculty of Arts; • Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogical Education; • Faculty of Social and Psychological Education; • Faculty of Ukrainian Philology; • Faculty of Physical Education; • Faculty of Primary Education; • Faculty of Natural Sciences; • Institute of Economics and Business Education; The material-technical base of the University includes: 5 educational and laboratory buildings, educational workshops, two comfortable student hostels, an agricultural plant, a library with a fund of about 500 thousand copies, modern reading rooms, 3 language rooms, two student dining rooms, a sports complex, students have free access to the Internet in all buildings and hostels. The educational process at the university is provided by 39 departments. Today, the scientific and pedagogical potential of the university is 505 full-time employees, including 1 full member (academician) of the National Academy of Pedagogic Sciences of Ukraine, 1 academician of the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Ukraine, 53 doctors of sciences, professors and 312 candidates of sciences, associate professors. Over 10,000 students receive higher education in daytime and part-time forms of higher education (37 specialties at the first (bachelor) level, 37 specialties in the second (master's) level of higher education). The University provides educational services to foreign citizens in accredited specialties, trainss Ukrainian citizens for admission to higher education institutions.

Experience in the implementation of educational projects aimed at young people

Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University meets new realities and conduct an objective reassessment of its strategic priorities of conceptual development, namely, improves all aspects of the role of international cooperation. It contributes to the reformation of the University and covers the educational process, organization of research, technology transfer, innovative university development, promotion and harmonization of national higher education system with the European one, qualitative training of competent professionals, creating new opportunities to develop staff and student mobility, autonomy expansion of the university departments. The priority directions in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University international cooperation are: 1. arrangement of internships for teachers and students and professional practice of students abroad; 2. participation in the international programs, projects, associations, societies and events; 3. training foreign citizens in the University; 4. implementation of international experience in teaching and research; 5. promotion of the scientific collaboration of University scientists with foreign colleagues; 6. development of dual education programes with foreign partners; 7. highlighting scientific achievements and promotion of the University at the international level; 8. grant activities. Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University supports wide international contacts with foreign educational, scientific and cultural institutions around the world. Today there are 57 agreements on cooperation with institutions of Poland, France, USA, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, Belarus, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, etc. The University implements academic mobility programs Mobile+3, Mobile+2, Erasmus+, as well as dual diploma programs aimed at supporting initiatives in the fields of education, culture and sports.
