NGO “Vzayemopomich” is a youth non-governmental organization, which was established in 2012 from idea and desire of "mutual help - helping others, helping yourself", by the group of initiative young people from Poltava, Ukraine. We are a group of more than 20 youth/social workers, volunteers, trainers, facilitators, and educators from different regions of Ukraine.
The mission of our organization is to create opportunities for young people to develop their full potential as individuals, responsible citizens of the world, and as active members of their communities. We see a world in which, all young people reach their full potential by creating positive change around them. Thus, our aim is to provide various opportunities for the development of young people and those who work with them.
The activities of our organisation are based on voluntary work and the strengths of our members, thus we have several spheres of work, among them, are:
Art, sport, healthy lifestyle, environment protection, social integration, Human Rights, cultural awareness, young people with fewer opportunities, employment, social entrepreneurship, etc.
Our target groups are:
young people aged 16 – 30, with low professional skills or/and with fewer opportunities; internally displaced people (migrants inside the country, who moved from East of Ukraine, where conflict arises); schoolchildren and students; international students; youth and social workers; organisations working with children and young people with special needs (orphanages, special schools, etc.).

The organization engages in a wide range of activities among them are:
Active Citizenship:
Conducted TOSOCO (Tolerance, Solidarity, Competence) school for young activists across Ukraine
Developing a City HUB for community collaboration and initiatives
Entrepreneurship:
Organizes seminars on employment, CV writing, and motivation letters
Implements projects like "Young Parents - Young Empowerment!" and "Youth Win!" to develop entrepreneurship skills
Involved in creating educational board games like "ForestCommerce"
Working with Disadvantaged Youth:
"Our Children" project aims to reduce orphanhood in Ukraine
Fundraising for children's hospitals
Includes young people with fewer opportunities in mobility projects
Sports and Healthy Lifestyle:
Organizes outdoor youth camps, yoga lessons, and meditation sessions
Supports local football team and organizes amateur championships
"Play for Human Rights!" campaign combines sports with human rights education
Social Integration:
Assists internally displaced people from conflict zones
"Create a sustainable future together!" project taught furniture-making skills to locals and displaced persons
Human Rights Education:
Members participate in theatre groups addressing discrimination issues
Organized youth exchanges promoting interfaith tolerance
Co-organized National Training Course on Human Rights Education
Environmental Initiatives:
Annual public area cleaning events
Tree planting activities
Collaborates with local partners on waste and energy solutions
The organization has implemented numerous projects, including:
TOSOCO school (2016): Focused on tolerance, solidarity, and competence for young activists
"Play for children's rights" festival (2016): Promoted children's rights through sports
"Play for Human Rights!" campaign (2017): Recognized as best practice in youth work for human rights education
"Create a sustainable future together!" (2017): Taught furniture-making skills to locals and displaced persons
National Training Course on Human Rights Education (2018): Trained youth leaders and educators from rural areas
