“Black-Sea Potential” was founded in 2015 as an non-governmental organization. The founders were united around the idea of increasing the role of youth in full and harmonious development of the Ukrainian society. The aims of the organization are: I. Providing society with a various type of the volunteer assistance (individual and group) at the local level and development of the volunteer movement in Ukraine; II. Implementation of socially important initiatives and projects in the sphere of working with vulnerable categories of youth aiming their socialization and equality. To achieve named issues, we hold workshops, seminars, trainings and discuss-clubs on topics of tolerance, active citizenship and healthy lifestyle. In assistance with our strategic partners, we realize international projects of mentoring and job-shadowing for young people in social work spheres. In 2015 activists of organization were dealing with the project aimed to accelerate young people with disabilities to make IT products. The unique educational platform and methodology gave participants possibility to learn the programming and create apps for selling through Play Market. Additionally, we have carried out community-based projects addressing the needs of socially disadvantaged youth, including skill-building programs in digital literacy, public speaking, and creative expression. Our target group includes young people aged 16-35, facing different types of life obstacles, learners and staff, like students, trainers, teachers, youth workers, formal and non-formal leaders. Our team includes former EVS and ASF volunteers, UN volunteers, researchers in psychology and pedagogy, legal professionals, and experienced international project managers dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for young people.

“Black-Sea Potential” has extensive experience in implementing educational projects designed to empower young people, particularly those facing life challenges. Since our founding in 2015, we have developed and executed numerous initiatives in both formal and non-formal education. Our key areas of expertise include: • Volunteering and Civic Engagement: Organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions on active citizenship, tolerance, and youth participation. • Social Inclusion and Equality: Implementing projects aimed at integrating vulnerable youth, including those with disabilities, into society through skill-building and mentorship programs. • Digital Education and IT Skills: Running specialized training programs to teach young people programming, app development, and digital literacy, enabling them to create and sell their own products. • Personal and Professional Development: Offering training in public speaking, creative expression, and career-oriented job-shadowing opportunities in partnership with international organizations. • International Collaboration: Engaging young people in cross-border mentorship and job-shadowing experiences in social work fields. We are open to further developing partnerships in areas such as youth empowerment, digital skills training, social entrepreneurship, and international exchange programs.
