Birzu "Ausros" basic school is the biggest and oldest school in Birzai regional municipality which is situated in the center of the town. The school provides education to nearly 600 children aged 7- 16. About 50 teachers give lessons on different subjects: national language -Lithuanian, foreign languages (English, Russian, German), Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, ICT, Art, Religion, Ethics, Physical Education and some other. Majority of the students are very active schoolchildren and take part in a lot of other activities in Sport, Music, Art schools or other clubs. A special attention at our school is devoted to teaching the English language and ICT. Students start learning the English language from the second form.

Students from Szkola Podstawowa im. Andrzeja Grubby w K?kolewie and Birzu "Ausros" basic school started communicating and getting acquainted by exchanging individual email letters . We also tried to know each other better and had distance meeting via Zoom platform.
