AKADEMIA PILKARSKA LG (AP ORLEN Gdańsk) is the largest female football academy in Northern Poland. First team plays in Ekstraliga, top division in the country. The academy trains over 130 girls from region in seven age categories: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17 and first team. In season 2019/2020 AKADEMIA PILKARSKA LG(AP ORLEN Gdańsk) was honoured by Polish Football Association by receiving Golden Star, which is the highest achievement in training youth players, as the only fully feminine academy. Except developing women?s football as a club, AP ORLEN Gdańsk is also liable for conducting Football Future with ORLEN program, which cover approximately 4000 children (both girls and boys) in 16 academies (two fully feminine) in Poland. Apart from delivering long-term trainings plan, scholarships for the most talented players, coaches? cofounding, big tournament etc. The program aims to encourage more boys? academies to open girls? teams.

We would like to develop our skills and experience in areas such as: anti-discrimination, gender equality, health, media, social media and communication and volunteering. Our mission is to create an appropriate environment for the women's football development in Gdańsk, but also on a national scale and to make women's football in Poland accessible, popular and sustainably developed. One of key factors of implementation of this mission will be cooperation with international clubs from the region and exchange our knowledge in topics mentioned above.
