Lithuanian students’ sports association (LSSA) is an independent non-profit organization, established in 1990. The main aims are: to popularize sport between youth and students, popularize Sport for all activities, to organize National student championships (24 sports), to participate at International students’ sports events such as SELL student games, FISU Summer and Winter Games, European university games, to collaborate with sports organizations of the Republic of Lithuania and other countries. LSSA is an active member of Lithuanian Association Sport for all, International University Sport Federation (FISU) and European university sport association (EUSA). LSSA members are – university status high schools and 3 student leagues – Basketball (LSKL), Football (LSFL) and Volleyball (NSTL).

Many years AZS sending university teams to participate in SELL (Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) student games, that are organized every year in one of four countries.
