description
The Husiatyn territorial community was established on 15 July 2015 and consisted of 3 settlements. Since 2020, it has expanded and today consists of 17 settlements.
The administrative centre of the community is the village of Husiatyn. The population is 14750 people, of which the urban population is 7880 and 7880 are rural residents. The area of the community is 246.7 square kilometres. The total length of the hromada is 57 km, 1 settlement and 16 villages.
Husiatyn has the status of a resort town due to the presence of unique mineral water deposits. The Novozbruchansk water with its two types of water - slightly mineralised and highly mineralised (‘brine’) - has no analogues in the world.
The community pays special attention to education.
Currently, there are 7 schools with 1037 pupils, 4 kindergartens with 317 pupils, a centre for children and youth creativity and a children's and youth sports school.
Experience in the implementation of educational projects aimed at young people
Our experience of working with Zespół Szkół Zawodowych w Wolsztynie is quite significant. Here is an example of the implementation of several joint projects and joint meetings.
On 18 January 2022, a Polish delegation paid a working visit to the Husiatyn village council. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss international cooperation. According to the Agreement, teachers will exchange experience and undergo internships. Summer developmental schools and Polish and Ukrainian language courses of various durations will be organised for children, as well as school trips. The parties will also facilitate joint cultural and sporting events, as well as recreation for students and teachers in the centres of Husiatyn and Wolshtyn.
