State Higher Educational Institution "Donbas State Pedagogical University" (DSPU) has been taken the leading positions on the educational services market more then 80 years. High quality of teaching and the level of scientific research create unique training opportunities for highly qualified specialists education in leading scientists and researchers. The history of DSPU was started with the activity of Sloviansk Teacher?s Institute in 1939 on the basis of the pedagogical school with two faculties (philological and historical). An outstanding event in the history of the institution is the creation of the Donbas State Pedagogical University in 2012 by combining the Sloviansk State Pedagogical University and the Horlivka Institute for Foreign Languages. There are 9 faculties in DSPU now: 7 faculties are in the basic university (faculty of Physics and Mathematics; faculty of Primary, Technological and Vocational Education; Pedagogical Faculty; Faculty of Physical Culture; Philological Faculty; Faculty of Special Education; Faculty of Humanitarian and Economic education), 2 faculties are in the Horlivka Institute for Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution "Donbas State Pedagogical University" (Faculty of Romano-German Languages, Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication). The Institution has postgraduate studies in 9 specialties and doctoral studies in 033 Philosophy and 231 Social work. The start of the Specialized Academic Council D12.112.01 in 2012 is an important achievement in the scientific activity of the university with the right to accept and to uphold doctoral (candidate) theses in specialties: 13.00.04 - Theory and Methodology of Professional Education and 13.00.05 - Social Pedagogy. There are 3 collections which are published in the university. They are included in the List of professional publications of Ukraine, where the results of thesis works for the application of scientific degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Sciences) and Doctor of Sciences can be published: ?The Collection of Scientific Works: Humanization of the Educational Process?
