KNP "Central City Hospital" of RMR is a multidisciplinary cluster hospital with 686 beds and 28 intensive care beds, which provides round-the-clock emergency medical care. The hospital has 23 departments (11 therapeutic departments and 12 surgical departments). Also, there are regional departments in the CMP "CML" of the RMR, in particular, a neurosurgical department for adults and children aged 3 and over, a department of maxillofacial surgery for adults and children aged 3 and over, an infectious disease department. Today, the CMP "CML" of the RMR is a medical institution that provides highly qualified assistance to wounded soldiers in the rear. The institution successfully performs its functions in order to provide uninterrupted free medical care to patients. 293 doctors work in the hospital, 13 of them have the title of Honored Doctor of Ukraine and 11 doctors are Candidates of Medical Sciences. Taking into account the fact that military operations are being conducted on the territory of Ukraine, in 2023, the institution treated 1,634 servicemen, of which 768 were injured (injuries of various degrees of severity). In recent years, they have gained considerable experience in the provision of emergency medical care, as well as in the treatment of injured citizens. But first of all, our institution actively makes efforts in the direction of the development of cardiac surgery and transplantology. We perform open-heart surgery, 5 heart transplants and multi-organ transplants were performed. Cardiologists are implementing the technique of transesophageal echocardiography. We are actively developing the direction of rehabilitation. Traumatologist-orthopedic doctors have received training in osseointegrated prosthetics and strive to implement the most modern achievements of medicine, giving impetus to the restoration of not only physical health, but also restoration in the coordinates of social well-being.
