Municipal Institution "Lyceum No.11" of Kamianske City Council is a center for the application of innovative technologies and the latest teaching methods. The major direction of the institution's work is teaching of philological subjects and the study of foreign languages. In the center of special attention of the teachers’ work is the formation of Ukrainian national identity within the framework of European values, immersion in the culture of the country of the language studied, formation of intercultural dialogue skills and tolerance. One of the priority directions of the institution's work is the creation of a safe educational space and inclusive environment for the children who were internally displaced, children of military personnel, active social and cultural integration and psychological recovery of the students

During the period from 2015 to 2017 academic years students and teachers of the Municipal Institution "Lyceum No. 11" of Kamianske City Council took an active part in the "Klasna Shkola" programme, which was implemented by the All-Ukrainian Association of Teachers of History and Social Sciences "Nova Doba" in partnership with the "School with Class" Foundation, Warsaw, Poland with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It was co-financed by the "Education for Democracy" Foundation as part of the RITA - Changes in the Region program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. The purpose of the program was to implement deep changes in schools, to introduce a school-wide approach, to promote processes that would form among the school team a spirit of cooperation and creativity, support and understanding, aimed to give every child the opportunity to reveal their potential. As part of participation in the programme, during 2015-2016, different trainings were held for teachers, classes from 5 to 11 had school debates, during which the School Code 2.0 was approved. After that a school blog was created, which covered information about participation in the program, and the topic of the project was chosen, which was gradually implemented by all participants of the educational process - children, teachers, and parents. Based on the results of the project, a team of students from the institution took part in the Festival of Projects. The most active participants of the Festival from Ukraine and Poland took part in the "Swatka" training meeting. The meeting took place within the framework of the "Transformation in the Region" Program - RITA, which was financed by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, administered by the "Education for Democracy" Foundation. According to the results of the event, the Polish gymnasium No. 25 from the city of Zabrze, Silesia, Poland (coordinator Bernadette Biatek) and the Ukrainian school No. 7 from the city of Stryi, Lviv region (coordinator Svitlana Ruban) were identified as partners of our institution at that time. A new project was implemented together with partner schools. Its goal was to study the experience of civic activity of students in Ukraine and Poland, to use the experience of partner countries in their community, to promote the development of ideas of youth self-government. One of tasks of the project was to establish new partnerships and develop the intercultural dialogue.
