NGO "European Initiatives Center" is a non-profit organization. In it"s activities, organization is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Association of Citizens" and other normative legal acts of Ukraine, as well as the Charter of the organization. Organization has a non-profit status, non-commercial organization and interested in the development and implementation of regional and international as well as cross-border projects Areas of activity: - Youth exchange initiatives and projects - Educational and training programmes for youth - Local institutional development and cooperation. - Business, agriculture and tourism. - Education, science, innovation. - Environment and energy efficiency. - Preservation of local traditions, customs and historical and cultural heritage. Mission and tasks: ? Research and promotion of the development of local initiatives, promotion of foreign economic and investment activities, development of cross-border cooperation with interested organizations in regions bordering Ukraine and countries of the European Union. ? Initiation and development of projects for the development of youth policies and educational programmes, tourism, communal, nature protection infrastructure, youth and sports, cultural and ethnic centers, as well as the implementation of strategies for the development of the Carpathian region based on them. ? Improvement of the information support system for the development of local self-government. ? Exchange of information and best practices for further implementation of energy-efficient practices and solutions in Zakarpattia Oblast. ? Introduction of a more in-depth study and evaluation of the internal natural, economic, scientific, labor potential of the border regions. ? Facilitating the creation of a new generation of specialists in regional development, cross-border cooperation and European integration, including with the involvement of international experts, exchange of experience, issue of joint informational publications. ? Informing interested institutions, organizations, institutions and the public about their activities. ? Organization of online conferences, conferences and symposia of other cultural and mass events. ? Satisfaction and protection of legitimate social, economic, national-cultural and other rights and interests.
