The Chortkiv City Council ensures the development of the city's infrastructure, local decision-making and resolution of issues related to the Chortkiv community. The Youth Council is an advisory body of the city council. The Youth Council is a platform for youth participation in local government. It was created to represent the interests of young people, propose various initiatives, and better understand their needs and views. The activities of the youth council are based on the principles of the rule of law, legality, transparency, openness, responsibility and inclusiveness.

In 2022, the city of Chortkiv, represented by Mayor Volodymyr Shmatko, and the Foundation, represented by Martin Kurnik, signed a partnership agreement on cooperation and development of partnerships in the fields of economy, culture, education, science, tourism, sports, health and environment. The cooperation is aimed at mutual strengthening of cultural, sports, educational and youth exchange, development of socio-economic aspects of both regions through the organization and implementation of external financial projects, especially at the expense of the EU, as well as local funds allocated for international cooperation, etc. During the period of cooperation, the Foundation has repeatedly provided humanitarian aid, namely 300 laptops, power batteries and other assistance.
