The Small Academy of Sciences for Pupils is a specialized out-of-school educational establishment whose main activity is research and experimentation, which involves the involvement of pupils (students, trainees) in research, experimental, design and inventive work in various fields of science, technology, culture and art, as well as the identification, development and support of gifted youth, creating conditions for their creative realization and expansion of scientific outlook, and organizing meaningful leisure. Main tasks - implementation of the state policy in the field of out-of-school education; - Identification, development and support of gifted youth, stimulation of their creative potential, development of scientific and research and experimental activities of pupils; - creating conditions for harmonious personal development, meeting the needs of pupils in out-of-school education, organizing their health improvement, leisure and recreation; - meeting the needs of pupils in professional self-determination in accordance with their interests and abilities; - formation of national consciousness, active civic position, and motivation for a healthy lifestyle among pupils; - providing general education institutions with methodological assistance in working with gifted youth; - educational activities.

Our organization won the competition of mini-projects "Wartime Media Education: New Challenges, Resources and Audiences" and successfully implemented a mini-project called "Media Literacy - Control Your InfospaceUA". The goal of the project is to develop media competencies in schoolchildren (grades 8-11) that will enable them to use media and its content safely, critically, and consciously to meet their own goals and needs. After all, children whose media competence is not yet sufficiently formed are a particularly sensitive audience to information threats. At the same time, they require the attention of media educators as the most active media audience, spending a significant amount of time on social media. We are interested in the following areas: education, science, tourism for pupils in 8-11 grades, also research, experimental, design and inventive work in various fields of science, technology, culture and art, as well as the identification, development and support of gifted youth, creating conditions for their creative realization and expansion of scientific outlook, and organizing meaningful leisure activities.
