Civic organization ?Active Youth Community? was established by extremely motivated youth from Ukraine, who is ready become change makers in their community. Our goal is to support young people to be aware of the importance of international formal and non-formal education. We want to bring the youngsters the different opportunities of international programs that may be of potential interest to them. Our main focuses are on the following topics: ? Opportunities and Education for disadvantaged groups ? Non-formal Education ? Cultural Exchange ? Environmental Protection ? Participation in the European Democracy / active citizenship In Active Youth Community we believe that active citizenship does not end in active participation neither it depends only on politics and taking part in elections, but it encompasses personal, social, political and human rights. The right to education is connected with the identity of a person as a citizen and it is an important means for promoting democracy as well as combating various issues such as social, human and environmental that its continuation depends. We are confident that solving these problems is closely connected with the person, who is the cornerstone of a democratic society. We believe that the future, not only of democracy but also Europe?s and humanity?s is closely connected with social inclusion and freedoms.

- Active participation: Workshops on topic of youth self-development, opportunities for youth, active citizenship and youth involvement. - Ecology: Eco-awareness workshops, recycling activities, youth involvement in eco-initiatives of local government, together with the projects in the frames of ?Erasmus+? programme, also different kind of activities supported by local self-government; - Migrants and refugees: management of volunteers in the social events and volunteering camps within region. Co-organization of volunteering camp "let's build Ukraine together" which aims to help to rebuild houses and cities after the war actions in the territory of Ukraine. - Supporting in the development of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship: the organization actively is involved in the development of youngsters, entrepreneurship skills and supporting their ideas, we conduct as the information meetings related to how great business plan, CV and Motivation Letter, etc., also the organization helps the youngsters to write the business plans - Youngsters engagement: we have implemented various information campaigns, trainings, workshops for regional youth under the support of different donor organizations. We also had a possibility the projects supposed by the youngsters to be supported by us, which were directed to the solution of problems in their villages/communities. We try to pay more attention to those youngsters during our work, who ate living in small cities, representatives of religion and ethnic minorities and especially to the youngsters with disabilities.
